White Coral (Moonga)

This is a Jaivika gem found in the sea. Coral rocks are built a particular insect found in the sea. In some places, very long rocks of coral are found. Scientifically, it has been proved that coral is a constituent of calcium carbonate. It looks like a horn. Normally, Coral is found in orange colour. But it is found in different colours also such as red, pink, white, black and smoke. Coral found in orange or red colours are thought to be the best.

Coral is found mainly in the North Sea of Australia, at the shore of the Mediterranea Sea, in the south sea of Burma (Myanmar), Algeria, Tunisia and Sardinia. Coral rocks built by the insects are also found at the seashores of Cycle.

Use of the gem — One should wear the gem in a copper ring or locket on the middle finger on a Tuesday morning after having a bath and washing it with raw milk and worshipping with Dhoop, Deep, Flower and Akshat, etc. and having been sat facing east and with contemplation of Hanuman and Marg deities. The gem should be worn again the same way it is cracked, lost or stolen.
